His vision of creating an MSP that provides expert-level IT services and support in a different way has been realised through his 30-strong team of Engineers and Consultants. Qbt Consulting’s mandate since its inception in 1997 has been to provide a true customer focused support and service business – one that seriously measures the success and growth of our partners as an individual KPI for its staff.

Starting out in international banking as Accountant, Treasury Operations Manager, Business Analyst and IT Manager for both Lloyds Bank then Nippon Credit Bank, he brings a world-class level of experience, knowledge and perception to the company – something that guides and inspires greatness from those within the team.

During his yearly scheduled free time, you’ll find Ivan travelling the world with his wife, enjoying the 10 to 15 minutes of accumulated vacation he can. Consuming his coffee through an intravenous drip, Ivan is equal parts man and coffee bean.

His ability to recognise client true needs through non-linear thinking enables him to develop strong relationships with his clients as he has a deep, genuine knowledge of their outcomes and goals. This creative way of thinking perhaps began during his time with the Jim Henson Creature Shop working on the early-noughties Sci-Fi juggernaut Farscape (1999-2003) where he worked as a Puppeteer and engineer.

“A man who only talks business is a failure in all aspects of life” -Camino Del Rio – is a quote that cannot be applied to Luke. A man with many hobbies and interests outside of the office. Most notably, his interest in Gliding. You’ll find him soaring through Sydney’s skies like a Condor.

Being with the company since inception, the theory that client service and support is paramount is embedded in his professional DNA and something that drives each choice and plan created.

The diversity and varied environment that Qbt Consulting offers is Matt’s dream. He has a true desire to effect change in our client’s business through implementing and championing the right technology to get the job done and support growth.

On the rare occasions, he has free time, Matt enjoys the creation of music. Calling from his canon of musical talents including Piano, drums, saxophone and guitar, you’ll find him jamming out between reading financial returns of the Coffee plantations he’s got his eye on to supplement his consumption!
